My favorite theory is "It's not just the other girls who are 'alive'... the game itself is too".
The idea that the game reacts with glitchy music to an unusual situation that it's not meant to exist in the first place is awesome in my book. Not the "best" trivia/theory", but the one among those I liked the most.
